Hello -

I am a student at the University of Arizona and I am currently working on a project with a company called Earth Knowledge. We are currently evaluating their process of geotagging environmental articles, categorizing them, and posting them to their website.

They currently use an awareness system (http://www.awarenessnetworks.com/home/) as the provider their website and Google Earth as their mapping system.

My question to you is how does the GeoRSS feed integrate with the website once it has had the long/lat attached to the feed?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

It depends on the system architecture of the website. When you generate the web pages on the server then you will parse the GeoRSS on the server and generate the pages with the information. Otherwise if you have more an ajax site then you will implement it on the client side.
