Kitchener, Ontario is listed as having a little over 400000 inhabitants. This number is erroneous; I'm not sure where it comes from, but the city of Kitchener itself links to the correct numbers: http://www.kitchener.ca/en/businessinkitchener/FastFacts.asp?_mid_=11063 links to http://www.kitchener.ca/en/insidecityhall/resources/EDFastFacts.pdf which, as of this writing, has the 2013 population as 233700.
It is possible that the current number for Kitchener comes from data for the Region of Waterloo as a whole (Kitchener is the largest city in it, a bit bigger than Waterloo), but it's long ago that the region had 400000 inhabitants - by the same source, it is currently at 563000. Also, the Region is a different entity than the city of Kitchener.
I tried to change this manually, but it is restricted to users of a certain level.
