Hey all

I've finished doing an import of complete geonames data into my mysql instance.

Now, I'm looking to prune the data down somewhat, as I only need access to a subset of it.

Additionally, I need to migrate it into a somewhat different strucure.

My plan is this:

1: Drop all entries in Geonames that do not have the required feature codes.

2: Set up an insert from select script to import the relevant geonames data into my table structure.

Now, at the moment that data I'm looking to import is:
All Countries
All States (ADM1 zones) within Countries
All Cities and Towns more than a baseline (5k-15k) population level.

Can anyone offer any advice as to what feature codes, etc I should look at?
