I've noticed some validation errors in Ireland - No BT(X) post codes seems to be accepted for the GB country code through the API, nor can I find them in your lookup.
Example: BT5 7JP
This code is in the Royal Mail Postal Address File and should be accepted as far as I know.
On that note, the same can be said for the Channel Islands, GY6 8DQ
